Why activity directors bring us back

More than a fun hour

Every session is built around outcomes your community actually reports on — not just an afternoon of games.

Social Connection

Real connection, in the room

Improv only works when people truly engage with each other. Residents build connection in real time, with neighbors old and new.

Cognitive Engagement

A gentle mental workout

Every game asks residents to think, listen, and respond in the moment — gentle mental exercise disguised as fun.

Confidence

Celebrated for taking a risk

There's no wrong answer in improv. Residents leave a session having taken a small risk and been celebrated for it, every time.

Trained, experienced, and ready

Meet your facilitator

Daniel has spent 15 years inside the world of improv, trained at iO Chicago — one of the most respected improv theaters in the country — and teaches the Level 1 certification course through Improve Improv, a Yuma-based nonprofit. He's led sessions for groups of every age and comfort level, and knows how to read a room, adjust on the fly, and make sure nobody feels put on the spot.

This isn't a first-timer figuring it out in front of your residents — it's someone who's done this for years, bringing that same care to your community.

How it works

  1. We learn about your community A short conversation to find out group size, space, and what fits your activity calendar.
  2. Warm-ups that lower the stakes Simple, low-pressure games that get everyone smiling before anything's "on the line."
  3. The session Guided improv activities built for seated or standing participation — everyone's welcome to jump in as much or as little as they'd like.
  4. Wrap-up and conversation We stay after to chat, answer questions, and hear what residents enjoyed most.

What we bring to the table

Paperwork, handled

We know paperwork is often what actually stalls a booking — so we come prepared. General liability insurance, W-9 on file, and background check documentation ready whenever your facility needs it.

Give your residents something to look forward to.

Your first session is completely free — no cost, no commitment. Just tell us about your community, and we'll find a time that works.
